Beautiful, narrow-width table. The wood finish is dark walnut with black/gray streaks that will be easy to touch up. It's a matte finish that accepts beeswax and the grain comes to life in the light and is quite breath-taking. The legs are real cast iron and gorgeous, darker than the pic and my knobs on the end were gilded gold, but they look cool. The table is solid and strong. I love the table, but mine came with a crack in the top and I could not get them to agree to sending me a new top only like many vendors would do. The table is a shabby, reclaimed, vintage look so I can actually touch up the crack with black marker and it looks like it belongs lol. This is advertised as reclaimed and weathered and it is not glossy and perfect, you can see where they pounded in dowels to knots and there are natural crevices and heavy graining, even a little rough in spots and then stained over. The effect overall is vintage glam though.
